When you create a unique log-on you can re-visit your records at anytime and see them all in relation to each other. You can view your own records in map or in satellite view. Examples of Barn Owl data from Devon pre 2013 in both views are shown below. When you visit your own map you will be able to zoom in to see your own records. 

The more sightings you have the more interesting your map becomes. We are currently working on the facility to share data with others at a 2km level, with 'sighting type' and a 'date selection' functions. The British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) have supplied data from their new Atlas which will be included.
